This season in Whistler started off with a bang with foot after foot, day after day of light snow. Where sweet, deep and steep tree decents were all we could manage cuz of low vis and high avy. Now in the mid season we've got our big dumps and then blue skys which we move to the high alpine for big drops and steep chutes. The past couple of days has topped my season so far, riding with Chris Brown and Cody Bourchers pushin the line to some of the biggest drops ever done on film. Finally, the last day of the comp! Ak is one crazy place to ride, and if you find your self lookin for big lines and huge mountains, I found it! The Red Bull comp waz one of the more stressful times, with foged out days, compact snow and some heavy injuries ( 3 broken backs, 1 broken leg, 2 broken ankels, and 2 seperated shoulders ). But it waz one of the most amazing times, with hugh airs, big chutes and a killer group of riderz to make this the best trip possible! Tomorrow is the final decision day with the judging starting at lunch where you can check out all our segs at redbullfeulandfurry.com and see for your self who killed Alaska!!!!!

Sitin up here in AK night before, tomorrow's the the start of the FURRY. The clouds are movin in but were still hopin for good viz, The terrain up here is sick with lots of wips, hits and drops, so let the games begin!

This Red Bull comp is goin to be one of the best yet, 16 ridrs, and 16 filmers, competing to get the best footage edited to a song and then played all over the world on the net.
 I'm goin to be one of those riders, with my shooter Dave Calahar, The comp starts on the 8th and ends on the 14th with the footage being played on the 15th where you can vote for your favorite segment.
    Each day I ride I will try to throw a blog on this site to let you know about the day and the events that unfolded...BIG airs, big crash and burns, and other circumstances that might of happened. So keep an eye out on the site for updates and to track my progress through this compition. ----Geoff Kyle
