On Wednesday morning, I walked down the stairs of my Whistler house to our private parking lot to discover it empty. My truck that had my sled on it was missing. I had just parked it there late tuesday night.

It was a 1993 Ford F50. It is dark green, rusty and dented, lifted, with big tires.

The sled is a 2007 M8 Arctic Cat with a 153″ track. It is mainly black with some orange on it. It has very low miles and is in excellent shape.

NIKITA clothing has offered rewards for any information leading to the recovery !!!

please help me get my sled back !!!!

Just left tha u p and it is still early season but it is shapin up to be a nice year with early snowfall grooming has already started in most of the U P and will continue with significant snowfall on its way adding to the base that is already down . We will have some powder to play in soooon... Anytime from here on out is a good time to go but the snowfall greatly increases the further north and even more significant toward Marquette which has been hammered all year..

This season in Whistler started off with a bang with foot after foot, day after day of light snow. Where sweet, deep and steep tree decents were all we could manage cuz of low vis and high avy. Now in the mid season we've got our big dumps and then blue skys which we move to the high alpine for big drops and steep chutes. The past couple of days has topped my season so far, riding with Chris Brown and Cody Bourchers pushin the line to some of the biggest drops ever done on film. Slednecks11 is goin to tell a story that u gotta see to believe....later---Geoff Kyle

My Blog: Project ZRT
By: Klide

.

Well Project ZRT was coming along good and earlier this year I thought it was done for a while but NO! I have rebuilt everything on the sled so far except the motor and of coarse now that I got all the bugs worked out of it the last thing that could possibly need to be rebuilt takes an atomic shi*t! I was riding it to school the other day and I had just put in new spark plugs that morning. The sled was running decent that morning and then about a mile down the road I puter to the boards and about 200ft later she started missing on one cylinder really bad but would occasionally fire on it. So I limped it in to school another 3 miles down the road got there and pulled the plugs thinking maybe a bad plug. But when I pulled the plug on the PTO side it had 0 gap it was smashed flat. So I thought ok well I have to get it home so I went to napa 3 blocks away and got a set of new plugs and re gaped the one that got smashed. So I put the old plugs back in and started riding home and the confusing thing was it ran A ok but then about a mile down the road it started missing again and acting if it had no power so I put the new plugs in but none of the old ones were smashed again. So now with new plugs in it ran good again for about 500ft then started acting up but occasionally it would run flawless again. so I got home and did a compression test and the center and right cylinder had 125psi  and the PTO side had 93-98. So I tore it down and found that the piston skirt on the front side of the piston on the Pto side was gone a whole 2"x1" piece was missing so that explained my smashed spark plug. So now I am stuck rebuilding the top end New Wiseco pistons, rings, cir clips, pins, and gasket set are $395 then add another used cylinder on that is another $100. Ok so thats a total of $495 yeah I can handle that. But no when I tore down the other two cylinders the dumb ass that had it before me tried to hone those two out way to far and the nicacill coating is starting to wear through so now I am stuck buying not only 1 but 3 new cylinders now my cost is up to not $495 but $695 and that is the story on how the ZRT blew up and cost me a shi*t load of money that I don't have. But the thing that really makes me mad is the ZRT was the replacement for my ZR when it blew up and I thought $700 is way to much to rebuild it so I scraped it out and got my ZRT and now I am back in the same spot I started 2 years ago.  I am looking for a crashed 1998-2000 ZR or ZL Preferably a 600 or a 700 but anything els works to. IF YOU NEED ANY THING FOR A SLED IN THE MID 1980'S TO LATE 1990'S LET ME KNOW I HAVE A SMALL JUNK YARD OF ARCTIC CAT PARTS AND SOME KAWASAKI PARTS. I ALSO DO SNOWMOBILE REPAIR AND MODIFICATION

Hello Everybody!  We have a few updates for you just before the Holidays arrive.

Alticity Films
Alticity is having a Holiday Sale on most of our DVD's in our webshop at www.ALTICITY.com  DVD's make great stocking stuffers for your favorite ( and sometimes not favorite) snowmobilers and dune riders.

to be Technology
We received a few more Large and XLarge helmets in both colors. We just go them in Friday and thanks to a couple huge dealer orders, we are quite low again. This is the last shipment of helmets we will be getting this season.

iPod controllers will hopefully ship out this week. I had one hand delivered from the owner of TOBE last month and it works and looks great. Very quality piece of equipment.

Some BIG news is that we just opened a TOBE Factory Outlet online today in our webshop:  https://212.97.134.108/america/index.php (click the FACTORY OUTLET button at the top). The Outlet has holdover gear from last year and is at a HUGE discount. Since it is just leftovers the sizes are hit and miss, but if you are lucky enough to find something your size you will save big!
T's, hoodies, jackets and pants for men and women and some small stuff for older kids.

USPS says December 20th is the last day to ship in order to get stuff for Christmas.  UPS says Dec. 18th for ground. This info is good for anybody shipping product in the USA. So only 7-9 more days to finish your shopping!

Merry Christmas!

Don't get back here as much as I would like to. Moved to California for a new job and I have been working on getting it to be able to run on cruise control.
All of the broken stuff on my sled is still broken, now that it is snowing I think I will get around to fixing it. Not anything major, but time consuming. I looked into a few of the new sleds this past spring, but couldn't bring myself to make the snow-check commitment. Now I wish that I had, the 800 xp looks great, the Dragon is also sick. I don't know much about arctic cats, but Chris Burrant shure makes a strong argument for having a free-ride team that can make your mtn. sleds do amazing stuff- that kid has the best vision on the hill- finding trannies and riding in three dimensions!

I have been riding these machines for only a few years and I would throw away my gravity powered shred stick if I could find a way to make it happen. There is no feeling like completing a few crucial sidehill switchback turns that help get you up and over to the next valley!

Good luck to you all this winter talk to you again,

JP

Sebe's Blog: Burnt Out.
By: boondocker

Well, the snow is beginning to show up. And I'm working 7 days a week, trying to save up enough money to buy myself a sled this year. The 'family sleds' just aren't cutting it these days. Unlike a lot of people on this site, Daddy doesn't buy me my own sleds, or bikes, or quads, or vehicles. Oh, how nice it would be to be a spoiled little brat...
   ...seriously, it would be.

....when there's no snow.  It's been forever since i've been on here.  Looks like things are going well though.  My radness rating is like at a 5 or something and my hotness rating is a 4 or vice versa.  Anyway, it's a bitch not owning a driveway, or yard for that matter.  Got a warning on my sled trailer last week to move it or lose.  So now i'm looking for a place to keep it over the winter and maybe summer.  I'm willing to pay a fee of course, as long as it's not too expensive.  So yeah, that sucks but otherwise, everything is going well, except i'm 30 now.  As of yesterday, my twentys are no longer.  Ugh   Oh well, maybe my 30's will kick major ass, maybe.   So I better get for now but i'm gonna send a shout out to all my homies on here, Tigges, Nicole and Klinker.  WHAT'S UP!!!  Alright, hey anyone know anyone in Steamboat that's willing to help me out with sled storage this winter, leave me a message on here would ya?  Thanks

Hey every one, its Thacker here checking in from Whistler BC. Myself, Cody Borchers, Cory Davis, Randy ShermanRoss Mercer and Chris Brown on the Camera have been tearin it up here in Beautiful British Columbia. Our weather has not been the greatest but that has definitely not slowed down our good times! We have been ripping dirt bikes, rallying the mountain bikes on the downhill course and there is no shortage for night life even in the off season of the crazy ski town. We have only had a couple of days of actual filming but when we have gotten to it’s been unreal. There is so much snow left here I can’t believe it! It is the middle of June and we are still riding sleds! Totally living the dream! Ha! Yesterday was our best day with Ross and Cody crushing the 180 reentries and even myself getting in there a bit! Cory and I crushed the Monster gap jump with Cory killing it even more with some nice no footed can cans There was definitely no shortage of big air, style, Monster Energy drink and fun with some of the most talented riders in the biz! Until next time! Peace and keep it rubber side down!

SledClub.com News: Cody Borchers Interview
By: SledClub.com

                                                    Cody Borchers

Age: 29
Residing:
Calgary, AB
Sponsors: A&E Racing, Ski-doo, Martin Chrysler, Slednecks, Blue Marble Oil, RK Tek, Bulldog
Decks, Dyno Port, Fly racing, HMK, OGIO, Fox Helmets, MBC, Oakley, AMP.

What got you into sledding and how long have you been doing it for?

My buddy Pat and his family. I use to live in Sherwood Park, AB and I
would hang out at his house whenever I could. His family had a bunch of
sleds and I was allowed to come over and enjoy. It continued from there.  Then my
family moved to Cochrane, AB.   My brother and I worked to save up enough
money to buy XLT Polaris'.  We met a couple guy's in a local riding area
near Cochrane. They saw that we had enough talent to take us to Golden, BC.
And that was the first time in the mountains. Ever since then we just
couldn't get enough.  Now here I am.

What kind of sled/s did you ride this year and what mods did you do to it/
them?

I have 2 sleds this season and they are 07 Race chassis' with 800 Ski-doo
power plants. One has a RT Tek piston head kit with a Dyno Port pipe and
silencer that works amazing. It sure makes a difference from stock. The
other one has a 06 power tek 800 that is stock with a Dyno port pipe and
silencer. With a couple of little tricks and that’s it.........(top secret)
Haha!!!

You had an early season injury.  What happened?

I broke my Rt Radius and wrist. I had a plate and 8 screws put in. That was
pretty sh**ty. It happen December 8 in Colorado at the Compound. I was
trying to learn freestyle. I over jumped the landing, landed flat and snap!

This started your season off on a bad note. Were you still able to reach
all your goals for the year?

Yes it was hard to take, I love all times of the winter and I missed out on
a lot of early season riding. I started riding mid February and battled
cloudy days after days. It took awhile to get the confidence back, but I
have been able to do everything I wanted to accomplish.

                                                                                                          DomG Photo

You just finished sledding in Whistler.  Who where there with and
how did that go for you?

Whistler was awesome this year, I got to ride with Rob Alford, Geoff Kyle,
Ray Archer, Chris Brown, Chris Burandt, Cory Davis, Randy Sherman and Dan
Treadway. It was a good time and there were a couple ups and downs, but that
is a part of sledding.

What videos can we look out for in seeing you in this year?

Slednecks 10, Frontier Films, maybe Matchstick and maybe On The Pipe, we’ll
see about those. It would be sweet to be in a Ski Video, and Moto Video.

Where did you get to sled this winter?

Revelstoke BC, Whistler BC and Colorado.

Do you stay at Rob Alfords bed and breakfast when you’re  in Revy?

Oh for sure, it’s a really nice place to stay. Rob always invites me.

I hear he can cook a pretty mean breakfast. Is this true?

Rob cooks a mean one.  Then I have to clean up the mess....Haha. Robby makes
it a good visit for all his guests!

What would you pick if you could only choose one;  Deep pow descents, big
drops or huge booters?

Oh man. I love it all too much to choose one.

What about between gnarly flips or tweaked out whips?

Well gnarly flips are ballz and they’re pretty wild. Tweaked out whips are
the funnest things to do, I can't get enough of them. There's no other
feeling then throwing a big whip and being upside down.

You have been tweaking those whips out pretty good lately!  any secrets?

Thanks, I have been trying to get better at them. It takes practice and
practice for me.

What do you think about the new 2008 Rev XP?  And would you consider
riding on one next year?

I have ordered 2 for next year. Ski-doo has changed snowmobiling again. I
want to be on them as soon as possible. They look cool. Can’t wait!

Any advice you can give to someone before heading into the backcountry?

Yes, Avalanche gear and take a course as well.  Make sure you know how to use it!
Because the only survival out there is you and your group! Make sure to be
prepared for anything. Bring things to keep warn and be prepared to stay
over night. Things can change so fast while being out there.  Be sure to bring lots of
water and food,  your buddy might forget his....... Use your Head,
common sense and have fun!

Any words of wisdom or quotes to live by?

Work Hard and Play Harder. Treat people the way you want to be treated..

Any last comments or people you want to give thanks to?

Thanks to all my sponsors and everybody that makes it possible for me to do
this.

Thanks for your time Cody

No problem,

Thank you.
