If you are thinking of  bringing your skis or snowboard with you when you go snowmobiling check out www.cheetahfactoryracing.com for the best ski and snowboard racks on the market.
All the Cheetah Factory Racing products have been tested and proven to with stand the abuse from the backcountry while sledding with your snowboard or skis attached to the rack.

Here Are A Couple Of The Cheetah Factory Racings Racks:

The CFR Snowboard Bracket System is the best and safest way to keep your snowboard out of the way while snowmobiling. Using the CFR snowboard bracket will make you forget that you have your snowboard with you until you get to the top of your favorite snowboard line or jump spot and turn around. This package contains parts and hardware to carry one snowboard on D or Double D rack. Another snowboard bracket system can be purchased to carry up to two snowboards on D or Double D rack. The Extra strap kit also can be purchased separately and adds another strap and a U- side bracket to keep your snowboard off your tunnel and away from your seat. D and Double D rack are not included and must be purchased separately.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The CFR dual ski bracket system is the best way to get your skis and poles to the top of the mountain safely on your snowmobile. This system can be used with another dual ski bracket on the other side to carry up to two pairs of skis and poles. It also can be used with a snowboard bracket system to carry a snowboard on one side of snowmobile and skis/poles on the other side of snowmobile. When two dual ski brackets are being used it is putting a lot of extra weight on the rear tunnel. Slow down going through rough conditions. Extra tunnel supports are a good idea if you frequently travel in rough conditions with two pairs of skis.

My Journal: Cougar

Finally! Enough snow to go out snowmachining! And it's still snowing and is supposed to be snowing all day tomorrow too! The sad irony in this is that Lizard's Ski-Doo took a crap on him today. Poor boy... he's been waiting for the snow all year and it finally comes as his MXZ snaps the drive chain...

My sister bought herself an old John Deere snowmachine a while back too... one of the first models ever produced. It's gotta be from way back in the 60's... she's so proud of the little antique.

Speaking of which, ha! I'm quite possibly through with that damn 1983 Cheetah 440! My dad got sick of me bugging him about his Panther 550, and he started looking at this little 1994 Cougar for sale. He has a thing for Arctic Cats... I'm not badmouting them, afterall... the only Arctic Cat I've had a problem with is that Cheetah.

Better a sled to ride (except the Cheetah) then none at all, right?

Rae: You can't sell the cheetah, it's not a bad machine!

Me: No, it's not a bad machine. It's also not a good machine.

Rae: Oh whaa, so there's no brakes and no kill switch...

Me: I need a better machine, Rae. You have your truck, it's more my machine then yours and it wont go where I want it to go. There's no point in a machine that won't go through snow... I want something that doesn't dig itself into a hole everytime it goes through powder... something that'll freaking break new trails. You buy the cheetah and then you can keep the damn thing!

Ah, don't you love sisters? Seriously, if she loves that fugly machine so much, she should just hand over some money right now. I've had a taste of something newer and more powerful and I'm addicted...
