Im writing you to tell you im sorry. Im sorry that we dont spend as much time together as we used to. I've taken advantage you. I only visit you on my time, and i no longer think of you as much as i used toI think its best if u make up ur mind .. quit changing your mind ..i know your going through stuff && i really help u but i dont think u will let me thats alright i understand last night was a rough night...everything will be alright babe dont worry im here to talk if u want ..  After saying goodbye to Corey   at like 10pm   i drove home... and crawled into bed... i was so incredibly tired... but for some odd reason i just couldnt fall asleep... so after  hours of fiddling with my cell phone&& on my computer ... and past the time of ipod listening... and the painting my nails...  watching t.v. i decided that i would lay down in my bed, close my eyes and hope for the best... at first it was a little overwelming, there were so meny thoughts racing through my head. Good ones, bad ones... i had decisions to make, things to do... but after laying there for about a half hour they started to fade away... I felt like God was telling me woah anna, you need to chill out and think... now the subject that last came into my head is wayyy to confusing to talk about.. but it involves two other people besides me, so some people know what im talking about, at first when i thought about it i was really bummed out, this topic is sooo not fun... i dont want to take the easy way out, i really dont, but if thats what needs to happen it probably will... sadly enough. but you know me, how my brain wonders, and i bounce from subject to subject like mad. I came to and idea. What if, once you born, god gave a name. A name of another person, that was already born, or yet to be born. That person got your name too, and that person was the one that you were supposed to spend the rest of you life with. You grew up knowing that person, god made you compatible, you loved the same things, shared the same intrests, and you knew that they were the one... there would be no cheating, no question, there wouldnt be another girl, or "chemistry" with someone else. There wouldnt be tha best friend gone bad that wants your guy. There would be no abuse, it would be PERFECT. but the world isnt like that. right now we're in a time of trial and error. Who knows the person your dating now could be your husband, or someone just to share memories with at highschool reunions, or you may never see them again. i wish things wernt complicated, but they are. Im willing to try, to try and make it through this rough time, are you?

SledClub.com News: Cody Borchers Interview
By: SledClub.com

                                                    Cody Borchers

Age: 29
Residing:
Calgary, AB
Sponsors: A&E Racing, Ski-doo, Martin Chrysler, Slednecks, Blue Marble Oil, RK Tek, Bulldog
Decks, Dyno Port, Fly racing, HMK, OGIO, Fox Helmets, MBC, Oakley, AMP.

What got you into sledding and how long have you been doing it for?

My buddy Pat and his family. I use to live in Sherwood Park, AB and I
would hang out at his house whenever I could. His family had a bunch of
sleds and I was allowed to come over and enjoy. It continued from there.  Then my
family moved to Cochrane, AB.   My brother and I worked to save up enough
money to buy XLT Polaris'.  We met a couple guy's in a local riding area
near Cochrane. They saw that we had enough talent to take us to Golden, BC.
And that was the first time in the mountains. Ever since then we just
couldn't get enough.  Now here I am.

What kind of sled/s did you ride this year and what mods did you do to it/
them?

I have 2 sleds this season and they are 07 Race chassis' with 800 Ski-doo
power plants. One has a RT Tek piston head kit with a Dyno Port pipe and
silencer that works amazing. It sure makes a difference from stock. The
other one has a 06 power tek 800 that is stock with a Dyno port pipe and
silencer. With a couple of little tricks and that’s it.........(top secret)
Haha!!!

You had an early season injury.  What happened?

I broke my Rt Radius and wrist. I had a plate and 8 screws put in. That was
pretty sh**ty. It happen December 8 in Colorado at the Compound. I was
trying to learn freestyle. I over jumped the landing, landed flat and snap!

This started your season off on a bad note. Were you still able to reach
all your goals for the year?

Yes it was hard to take, I love all times of the winter and I missed out on
a lot of early season riding. I started riding mid February and battled
cloudy days after days. It took awhile to get the confidence back, but I
have been able to do everything I wanted to accomplish.

                                                                                                          DomG Photo

You just finished sledding in Whistler.  Who where there with and
how did that go for you?

Whistler was awesome this year, I got to ride with Rob Alford, Geoff Kyle,
Ray Archer, Chris Brown, Chris Burandt, Cory Davis, Randy Sherman and Dan
Treadway. It was a good time and there were a couple ups and downs, but that
is a part of sledding.

What videos can we look out for in seeing you in this year?

Slednecks 10, Frontier Films, maybe Matchstick and maybe On The Pipe, we’ll
see about those. It would be sweet to be in a Ski Video, and Moto Video.

Where did you get to sled this winter?

Revelstoke BC, Whistler BC and Colorado.

Do you stay at Rob Alfords bed and breakfast when you’re  in Revy?

Oh for sure, it’s a really nice place to stay. Rob always invites me.

I hear he can cook a pretty mean breakfast. Is this true?

Rob cooks a mean one.  Then I have to clean up the mess....Haha. Robby makes
it a good visit for all his guests!

What would you pick if you could only choose one;  Deep pow descents, big
drops or huge booters?

Oh man. I love it all too much to choose one.

What about between gnarly flips or tweaked out whips?

Well gnarly flips are ballz and they’re pretty wild. Tweaked out whips are
the funnest things to do, I can't get enough of them. There's no other
feeling then throwing a big whip and being upside down.

You have been tweaking those whips out pretty good lately!  any secrets?

Thanks, I have been trying to get better at them. It takes practice and
practice for me.

What do you think about the new 2008 Rev XP?  And would you consider
riding on one next year?

I have ordered 2 for next year. Ski-doo has changed snowmobiling again. I
want to be on them as soon as possible. They look cool. Can’t wait!

Any advice you can give to someone before heading into the backcountry?

Yes, Avalanche gear and take a course as well.  Make sure you know how to use it!
Because the only survival out there is you and your group! Make sure to be
prepared for anything. Bring things to keep warn and be prepared to stay
over night. Things can change so fast while being out there.  Be sure to bring lots of
water and food,  your buddy might forget his....... Use your Head,
common sense and have fun!

Any words of wisdom or quotes to live by?

Work Hard and Play Harder. Treat people the way you want to be treated..

Any last comments or people you want to give thanks to?

Thanks to all my sponsors and everybody that makes it possible for me to do
this.

Thanks for your time Cody

No problem,

Thank you.

If you are thinking of  bringing your skis or snowboard with you when you go snowmobiling check out www.cheetahfactoryracing.com for the best ski and snowboard racks on the market.
All the Cheetah Factory Racing products have been tested and proven to with stand the abuse from the backcountry while sledding with your snowboard or skis attached to the rack.

Here Are A Couple Of The Cheetah Factory Racings Racks:

The CFR Snowboard Bracket System is the best and safest way to keep your snowboard out of the way while snowmobiling. Using the CFR snowboard bracket will make you forget that you have your snowboard with you until you get to the top of your favorite snowboard line or jump spot and turn around. This package contains parts and hardware to carry one snowboard on D or Double D rack. Another snowboard bracket system can be purchased to carry up to two snowboards on D or Double D rack. The Extra strap kit also can be purchased separately and adds another strap and a U- side bracket to keep your snowboard off your tunnel and away from your seat. D and Double D rack are not included and must be purchased separately.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The CFR dual ski bracket system is the best way to get your skis and poles to the top of the mountain safely on your snowmobile. This system can be used with another dual ski bracket on the other side to carry up to two pairs of skis and poles. It also can be used with a snowboard bracket system to carry a snowboard on one side of snowmobile and skis/poles on the other side of snowmobile. When two dual ski brackets are being used it is putting a lot of extra weight on the rear tunnel. Slow down going through rough conditions. Extra tunnel supports are a good idea if you frequently travel in rough conditions with two pairs of skis.

A SledClub Interview With Ross Mercer

Age: 25
Residing: Whitehorse, Yukon
Sponsors:  -RedBull
                  -SKi-Doo

                  -Planet Powersports

When you planned on going for the record, did you ever second guess or ask yourself is this actually possible or can my sled even go fast enough?

Not really. I knew I could do it, I actually thought my sled would be plenty
fast enough, but because of the elevation and temperatures it was actually
very close. I was hitting the ramp at full speed at the end with a huge
in run.

Did you do any special training or mods to your sled before going for the
record distance jump?

No. On the first day i was hitting the ramp full speed and not going far
enough, about 246. For the second day I geared my sled up, put on a
lightweight can and took the foam out of my airbox to try to make it faster.
We also extended the run in and for the last jump that i broke the record on
we had the entire inrun salted so it was frozen and hard, which made a big
difference.

What type of sled were you riding while going for the record jump?

I rode my 2007 Skidoo Rev Race chassis with a stock 800 engine. It is a
great sled and it worked perfectly for this jump.

Was there any support or sponsorship from them for the jump?

Yeah, Ski-Doo really helped me out this year. They hooked me up with a
couple of new 2007 sleds which have been great all season.

In general, do you think there should be more support from snowmobile
manufactures for the riders that are pushing the limits of the sport?

Well, the more support the riders get the more they can work at pushing the
limits of the sport. The last couple years have been really great for the
sport. There have been a number of events that have really pushed it into
the mainstream. RedBull has done events all over the world, the event in Red
Square Moscow, the Fuel and Fury event in Alaska last year etc, as well as
the fact that freestyle sledding was a gold medal event at the winter X
games this year have all brought it to the worlds attention. The
manufacturers are definately noticing us now and stepping up to the plate. I
am really excited to be working with SKi-Doo and hope that freestyle can
become a big part of their advertising, the way racing is.

How many paramedics were on stand by while you were going for the record?

I dont know. There was an ambulance standing by and a few people who were
there to deal with any kind of situation that might arise. It was reasuring
to have them there for sure.

What was your pre jump meal?

Well, I had a good crash in Slovenia about 5 days prior to my record
attempt, so I was really sore going into this. On the first day I ate 2 bags
of chips and 12 ibuprofins all day and had a couple RedBulls. The second day
I dont remember what I ate, a sandwich or a muffin or something i think.
lots of ibuprofins and RedBulls as well of course!

Now that you are in the Guinness Book of World Records have you started
getting love letters on Sledclub.com from all the hotties?

Not really but maybe things will  pick up here soon. Maybe this interview
will help.

I hear you were using a radar gun, how fast were you clocked at before
hitting the jump?

79 mph or so. Probably about 80 off the ramp, I held it pinned all the way
up the ramp.

What video/s can we look out for in seeing your record jump in?

It will be in SledNecks 10, Two Stroke Cold Smoke 10, I think its going to
be in the next Nitro Circus as well.

Being from the Yukon/Canada, what's the stupidest question a fan has asked
you about where your from?

Well, i dont know. Yesterday I went through the drive through at
McDonalds and got asked if it was for here or to go. There are lots of
stupid questions. It seems that a lot of people think the Yukon is in
Alaska. I am actually really surprised when I am travelling how many people
actually do know where the Yukon is.

Anyone you want to thank for helping making this event happen?

Yeah I would like to thank all my sponsors of course for their great support
this season. Everyone who was a part of this did a great job and worked very
hard to make it happen. Chris and Clayton at the compound for all their
work. I guess my biggest thanks has to go to RedBull for investing so much
in me and making all this happen. All the encouragement and props from
people back home and from around Canada go a long way too, it's cool to hear
from people who are stoked on what i am doing. I like to think I am making
Canadians proud.

That you are indeed!
Keep up the good work! We look forward in seeing you keep pushing the sport and  bringing it to new levels!

By: Blackstar14c

i'm not sure how i got into racing, i kinda just started at 15 and went on from there.
my very first race, that was when they had the first jounior race, i won and took the win in all the qualifing round and the finals for the past 4 weeks.
it was a great exparince for me to show rakin what i can do, then after that show nunavut what i can do.
its open an oppritunity for me to try and prisue my dream of racing with semi-pros or even pros.
i have had a chance to race with pholp thorn, jonathan iveson and shaun demarke
and that experince had given me a vision on what i could do.
it i'll soon be for me to try race some where out of rankin and shot for a spot in like the nwra, or the mwr, or csra, or even wpsa.
but first i'm going to have to get used to something i;ve never driven or had in my life
a mod.
i hope one day i get da mod see how it feels and i;f i can handle it then i'm going for any race that i can get my hands on.
but for now i'm stickin to the stocker because of finacial issues
all because i work at the local cafe

                               Interview With Rob Alford

Where did you grow up?
 Qualicum Beach, Vancouver Island.

You lived in Whistler before Revelstoke; what area do you prefer for sledding and why?
Both Whistler and Revelstoke have good points to them. Whistler has easier access to the goods but not as good snow.

Out of all the areas you have sledded whats your favorite place?
I have a new area in Revelstoke that is my favorite so far.  It is right by Zipper Mouth Creek.

What is Mt. Mackenzie Log Chalet?
It is a  deluxe bed and breakfast log home in Revelstoke which is covered in fresh pow right now. Check out www.logchalet.com  for more details.

I hear you commercial fish.  What is that like?
It pays the bills and it has some challenges that keeps it interesting.

What type of sledding impresses you most?
Well I am really impressed with the crazy airs those guys in Alaska are doing these days, and of course the big mountain pow riding.

Besides sledding what other activities keep you busy?
I do a lot of downhill biking, dirtbiking and some surfing.

What are your plans for this winter?
Send some airs and rip some pow!

Any sponsors or thanks you want to send out?
Blue Marble Oil, Fly Racing, Bull Dog truck Decks, A@E Motorsports and The Sled Shed.

LOS ANGELES - ESPN Winter X Games 11 announces new sports, new athletes and more coverage going into the eleventh annual event. First introduced as a demo event at Winter X Games Nine, this year‚s event will be modeled after Winter X mainstays, Skier X and Snowboarder X. It will feature the top 16 disabled men and women racing in individual sit-skis in heats of four. The annual Winter X Games is the premier action winter sports event in the world and showcases more than 250 of the world‚s top athletes including 28 Olympians who competed in last year‚s Winter X Games 10 prior to traveling to Turin, Italy. My Blog: About Me.
By: Tutt

I'm Alexander. Hmm. I've really got nothing right now. I'm into indie music. Everything I used to do I don't do anymore (think racing and wakeboarding). Life changes fast I guess. I know this now. Just moved back in with my mother. It's okay I guess. Also pretty single as of late or something like that. I'm really not this boaring. Just drawing blanks is all. Well anyways, I really do like to talk to everyone, and I'm not just saying it. Really, just try. But yea. Oh, I used to ahve a great job, not anymore. Like I said, things change. I really do love cars and bikes. It's a passion. I build them and it's more of an art for me. I find I can express my creativity with them. Like a metal canvas. Designing custom cars and bikes is what I want to do with my life. I guess I've really slowed down in life. Not as far as success but as far as the tempo. I have learned that if I do slow down and take it all in that it is so much more enjoyable. When I get high is when I usually have my best experiances for some reason. So, I get high a lot. Sorry if that deters you from me. Really, sorry. That's not all of who I am just something I really enjoy doing. I love people; I think everyone has something special to offer. Good or bad. Right now I'm listening to Goodbye Sky Harbor by Jimmy Eat World over and over again and it amazes me every time. I am a really fun and relaxed person. People say I'm soft spoken these days. Just a sign of how much I have chilled out because I used to be some sort of animal. Been through some things in my life, great and horrible, all have made me who I am today. I love who I am, but anymore I can't find the kind of people I want to surround myself with. Well I have a few friends that I would die for. I'm not as close with my older brother as I would like to be and my little brother may be the coolest person in the world. Maybe. Right now I am rambling about some random shi*t, but oh well. At least you are getting to hear something about me. I like to dance. Lots of ways. Just to express. Usually how drunk I am. Oh well. Fun all the same. I guess I am easily satisfied. Want to know how? Ask. I guess I'll tell you. Why not. Life is crazy. Really. I never know what is going to happen when I wake up. I guess that's why sometimes I lie in bed forever and never get up. Well not for a while. I find it hard to motivate myself when I take a look at the world that I live in. That we all live in. Too many people that are way too selfish. That's what it comes down to. Snowboarding is one of those things that allows my extemely competative personality shine. I really haven't done it as much as I should have. Slacker. I'm decent though. It also brings me to this amazing peace that few things can bring me to. Hmm. I am discovering that many people don't know how to tell the truth. Mostly to themselves. And me. It really is a shame. They could be so much more. I am by no means saying I am better. I am most definately not. Just differant. I like it like that. People call me Alex but I wished they called me Alexander. That is my real name. Unique I suppose because everyone seems to be just Alex. I love my real name. My mom gave it to me. That means a lot. Alexander. It just sounds better. A closer representation to who I am. What else? Oh. I love having adventures with those that mean everything to me. Think driving around with $2 in your pocket and a sack of green. If you let your imagination out, it will bring you to far places. I promise. I refuse to let myself fall for females. Too many heartbreaks. I am not bitter. Just learned my lesson. Speaking of girls. I once met an ex girlfriend on here. Odd as that may seem. It was good though. I like to get in my car and drive. Anywhere. Nowhere. I live ina place that so many people hate but I love with everything there is to me. It is home. Beautiful sunsets in the summer. Don't belive me? Try it. I grew up in a big old house that I love. My mom wants to move out west and sell this house. I wish I could buy it and keep it forever. So many memories. Plus, it's badass if you asked me. I come from a very odd family. Odd in the sense of not the reular run-of-the-mill type. Curious? Ask. I'll tell. I am a good driver. In many aspects. Never been in an accident and I also have a few insights of a few differant types of racing. Well, a lot of that insight. Its not easy but it puts my mind in a place that few people can know. It's like a numb extacy. If that makes any sense. Kinda like the worst tunnel vision you may have ever had, you really cannot feel anything except the car and the road/track, and at the same time an overwhelming feeling of pure love is all I feel. There are a couple things in life like that. Open your mind and you may find them. No. You will find them. It takes time. I am always looking for something new to open my heart and mind. It's fun. What life is all about. I'm usually big on grammar for some reason, not reflected by the continuous fragmented sentances on here. And my bad spelling. An odd fact though. I'm not really the schoolish kind of person. I love learning. I just think the schools are seriously flawed. I have been told by so many that I am extremely smart. I think so. Problem is, few things motivate me to use it. And most of those things people tell me I can never do. f*ck them. Right? Let me do my thing. I probably should apply myself more, though. Maybe I will. Who knows. Not me. Nothing is sure. So true. Well I have rambled a lot here. If you have made it this far then I am almost sure you are somewhat interested in me. If thats the case, comment me. Send me a message. I like those kinds of things. I'll get back to you. Who knows, I may just be your next best friends, the person you marry, or the person you murder. Never know until you find out.

I take a deep breath in as my fingers begin to move across the black and white keyboard in fron of me. I slowly type the letters I L O V E Y O U then click send. My heart begins racing my hands get all sweaty and my stomach starts to churn. I sit anxiously waiting for the reply. I am scared he doesn't feel the same. Then I start to wonder... do I trust him? Am I ready to give him my heart? But all my questions are answered by four simple wordls on the screen in fron of me... I love you too.

Nobody cares about threats over the internet. Don't try to act hardcore with the keyboard. Fighting online is like racing in the special olympics; even if you win, you're still retarded.

STARTED RIDING SLEDS AS A WORKING TOOL AT THE PINES SKI AREA IN VALPARAISO IND IN THE 60'S. 30 PLUS YEARS LATER AFTER RETIRING FROM THE NAVY AS A DEEPSEA DIVER, I HAVE BEEN DRAG RACING FOR @ 5 YEARS. SAW ASPHALT DRAGSLEDS ON TV @ MOROSO MOTOR SPEEDWAY AND MADE SOME CALLS. NEXT THING I KNEW I WAS A PROUD OWNER OF A 800CC+ YAMAHA QUAD MAX 4 W/ A STAGE 4 NOS KIT ON IT. I SOLD IT TO MY BROTHERS SON IN VALPARAISO IND AFTER RACING IT THRUOUT FLA. AND HE WILL BE RUNNING IT AT MOROSO DRAGWAY THIS YEAR. WAS THINKING @ GETTING IN TO GRASS/DIRT DRAGS HERE IN FLA. I LOVE TO SHUT UP THE YOUNGER RACERS ON THE QUADS, (NOT EASY NOW-A-DAYS!!!). AM GOING THRU MY 1966/67 CHEVYII W/ A FULL TUBE CHASSIE, CERT. CAGE, ALCOHOL TOP HAT SYSTEM. I HAVE BEEN IN THE TOP RANKINGS 4-8 PERSONS 2 YEARS IN A ROW AT THE DIS. 2,2000 AND 2001. IHRA SERIES IN THE PAST. I AM ALSO GETTING READY TO DO PYROTECHS, W/ NHRA IN THE SOUTH EAST US. I MIGHT HAVE TO BUY A PROMOD OF THE ASPHALT JUST TO TAKE W/ ME FOR THE PHUN OF IT...
OH WELL ENOUGH @ ME.
