Hey, I have a Yamaha exciter 440 one of the old ones I think its a 75 but not sure my normal sled is a 2003 Arctic Cat mountain cat 800. I just use the yamaha to rip up the town and its way way far from stock, well everything but the motor is moded and I wanna get more power out of the motor so if anyone has any sugestions please tell me, anything from boaring, porting, electrical or whatever else.

not much to do to it, mabee get a pipe for it, or even better a set of twins that you could fit in there, and twin carb it, twin carbs are the best thing you can do, and then clutch it to take advantage of the little bit better power.

but no matter what you do it will always be an old 440 fan

thats true, no matter what you do it is a pretty lame motor. not many ways to get power out of it. my suggestion is maybe get a different sled, unless your exciter is 100% mint or sumthing, then i would drop a different motor in it.
