I have a 97 v-max 700 and am having a problem trying to extend the throttle and oiler cables.  Someone told me that I can use the PowerMadd extensions, but I have no idea how they would work.  Any suggestions?

it should just be a box that your line hooks into a bar and pulls your original cable which gives you the extension.
just go ahead and buy them, they should be easy to install

The problem I run into with Yamaha is that there is no way to clip the sleeve of the cable in the block with the snap rings. The sleeves are actually bigger than others also, not making it possible to do without alot of modificaton.   I was wondering if anyone knew another manufacturer that may have an extension that would work better rather than destroying parts that may not work even after modification.
