Kilometers Posts : 106 ONLINE	Posted on Dec 25, 2006 yamaha dosnt seem to have a sled for me. i love yamaha quility but they are forcing me to ride something else. the apex is to big, its nimble in the deep pow and when turboed they hall but try ridin and jumpin one in the spring. the new phazer has a nice desighn but not enough power for the bc pow. very disappointed i need somethin that is a good all round sled not one made for specific ridin styles

Ive searched just about everywhere and cant find one. MBRP has one for an Apex but i cant find one for his sled. thanks

fast_eddy107 Posts : 9 ONLINE	Posted on Jan 30, 2007 I love my RTX. the power is sweet when it can hook up and it really does impress me in the powder. as for making the vector louder i beleve you can take the baffels out of the pipe to make it louder. check out www.ty4stroke.com they will be able to help you.

Kilometers Posts : 106 ONLINE	Posted on Feb 03, 2007 your a goof polaris is junk that shit will fall apart. i need somthin that will get me back not out. no faith in them after there900 crank failures. as for the doos they haul but my buddys 07 800r is havin major belt and clutch issues, and his runin boards r already sagiin out and we havnt even went that hard yet [Edited by Kilometers on 2/3/2007 at 12:48 AM]

fast_eddy107 Posts : 9 ONLINE	Posted on Feb 03, 2007 i rode a new rmk 700 yesterday. it was nice to toss around but the power was not there. then it ran outta gas when the gauge still said it had half a tank. my brother works at a ski-doo shop and they are rebuilding 80% of there sleds befor they even hit 3,000km. they only have one ring on the piston? whats that about.

sledlvr Posts : 70 ONLINE	Posted on Feb 23, 2007 last year, i was up hunters range and tyler backus was putting his competition rx-1 turbo through its paces, they seem like a wicked sled, i love big power,but it seemed like a hard sled to change lines with,if you back out of the throttle under boost, they bog when you try and get back on it, i`m looking to buy another performance sled,[probably my last, getting old , don`t heal fast anymore] anybody know what reliability and longevity is like with these turbo`s? have they fixed the bog? the weight doesn`t bother me but i want a strong responsive sled!

Well I own an 07 apex and the stock horsepower is pretty sweet and I have heard of apex turbo's with 8000 km on them and still runnign strong. Also a way to get away from the turbo lag is to move into a super charger same price range just no lag and a little easier power to handle hopes this heps you out
