I have a 1998 summit 670 X and it seems to have a miss or something around 4500-6000.I cant tell if it is loading or if something else is wrong,It you give it fuel when its missing it will shoot out of the hole like a bullet this makes me think its not fuel but I dont know enough about them to tell.It doesnt smell like its burning rich,Ive used high octane fuel and tried booster but it still does it. Also some times when you give it fuel itll pop like a miss but if you back off it goes away and runs fine untill you throttle up again. Also when it acts up if you back off the throttle just alittle itll smooth out and run fine untill you give it more then it comes back. Ive changed plugs, belts, fuel types, Ive checked for leaks, hoses off, vapor sensors, cleaned the vapor can and lines. It now occasionaly when stared will pop and hessitate like it is not running on all cylanders. Crap has anybody got any ideas of what I could check or do just shy of letting a shop tear into it?

Well I read on anouther site that an owner of a 1998 670x had a simular problem he was told to unhook the plug to the DPM was I tried this and it seemed to help and rode better I did about  80 miles this way with no problems and it seemed to have plenty of power and no hesitation. This would leave me to beleive that one of the sensors in the DPM went bad.
Has anyone else heard of anything like this?
