the local snowmobile club(that im president of)
is planning on knocking over and building a new cabin at our superb easy excissible sterling mtn range. we currently have two cabins on this range but the 1st cabin on jacks lake is getting old and is way to small for the amount of sledders using it.
the mtns around here see excess of 40 feet of snow per year. meaning we need a strong cabin which can hold huge snow louds. we usually build on stilts and anchoring the caibn to the ground(stopping movenment because of excessive wind and snow louds)

im looking for cabin desighns, pictures, or ideas, of what your cabins or ones youve seen looked like..
any ideas websites or pics would be appreciated.
unfortunitly this website dosnt allow you to uploud pics anymore so send them to my email, subject cabin pics

A-frame with metal roofing, that's all i have to say. make a really big one, when my dad built his house, he started with a 2 story A-frame and built off of it later. needless to say, he has yet to shovel the roof off. if you cut your own lumber for it, rough cut wood looks amazing.
