rmk_rider has created a new forum topic repairing pull cord how much?. Posted on Jan 28, 2009 I was leaving a buddies house the other night went to start my 800 rmk and the fucking thing snaped right at the end of the cord so i just brought it into the garage about 2 hours ago and the guy said that it would prolbey need new springs so how much would this usally cost?

Posted on Jan 28, 2009 Ok i bought a 2000 800 rmk and i brought it home for about a week or two then i brought to get a tune up at a garage about 10 miles from home and on the way to the garage i was traveling through the ditches and i went down into a stream going about 50-60km and hit the snow on the way up i hit a tree and put i good size dent though the body right to the muffler and then i hauled it back from the tree and it started fine then i continued my way to get my sleds tune up and when i brought it there it worked the very best. Then about 3 days later he called and said it was all ready so i left right after and when i got there he said it was 260$ bucks cdn he replaced 3 bulbs 2 in the front and the 1 in the back and he fixed the dent in both the body and muffler and he charged 40$ a hour and he worked 5 hours and got the bulbs for 15$ a peice and he just greased checked everything over. so iam still not sure if i got a good deal or not but when i drove it home it sounded way different and didnt run about hafe as good so he came right to my house and changed the plugs and she worked almost as good as before so i was woundering if i got a good deal or not??
